We know that an abortion choice is hard. Women choose abortion for many different reasons, including a lack of support, financial constraints, coercion, a feeling of limited options and more.

In our experience, many clients come to EPS feeling pressured to have an abortion by family, friends or the fathers of their babies. And there are other clients who are pregnant for a second time and looking for help after having chosen abortion for a previous pregnancy. Every situation is unique, and we meet each individual woman with compassion and without judgment.

An EPS nurse recently saw a woman who – after visiting us for a STI screening, pregnancy test and ultrasound – decided on abortion after her appointment. In a routine follow-up conversation between the woman and our nurse, the client expressed how she was having a hard time emotionally after her abortion. Our nurse spent time offering her additional post-abortive resources. Most importantly, our nurse shared with her that she is not alone, that there are people who care for her and there is hope! Our nurse was thankful for the opportunity to provide additional resources, and our client expressed her appreciation for having someone to talk to.

We understand that not everyone needs to talk to someone after an abortion. But if you need someone to confide in, we are here for you!

In addition to employing highly qualified nurses, we also have professional counselors on staff. You can access our cost-free counseling if you need emotional/spiritual healing after abortion.

We do not expect anything from you in return – no judgments, no obligations, and no fees. You are not alone!

When you submit a request for an appointment, you will receive a text asking you to call us within one business day. If you submit your request for an appointment after business hours, you will receive a text on the following business day. Once you receive this text, you MUST call to confirm your appointment by the time designated in the text message or your requested appointment will NOT be scheduled.

1. If you are feeling ill or have a fever, please do not schedule or attend an appointment. We can reschedule when you are feeling better. If you are unsure about whether to attend your appointment, call our helpline.

2. One adult guest may accompany you to your medical appointment. No children are permitted at appointments. No children should be left unattended in vehicles for any amount of time, so please make plans prior to coming to EPS if you have children in your care.

3. Babes in arms are welcome with clients participating in EPS Life Services, including when attending education classes and shopping in the boutique.

4. A mask must be worn at all times while in EPS centers and social distancing maintained.
